In order to reach that result, I had to brainstorm on the necessary steps needed to get to the end. I studied other e-zines publications, auto responders, researched topics and wrote articles, created and included an opt-in box on my web page for subscribers. Those steps became my road map, my atlas to get to my desired outcome. It also broke my goal down to smaller reachable tasks that I could include in my daily schedule. How do you eat an elephant? One piece at a time!

Take Daily Action Steps

You must commit to completing daily tasks towards your goals until successful completion. Youve defined your goal, mapped out the steps, now get out your planner and block time everyday to work on your tasks. Do not add the tasks to your to do list, actually put it in your schedule so that you are expected to work on it no matter what else is going on. If I schedule writing articles from 9:00 am 10:00 am, I will not do anything else during this time, I will not answer the telephone or check email messages. Time blocked on your schedule should be uninterrupted time avoiding all time wasters. Develop a habit to plan your next days schedule at the end of your current work day, this will keep you organize, monitor your time and increase your productivity.

Autumn Winter Fashion Trends 2008

This fall or autumn, there are so many different styles, with so many different designers and collections. Clothes are in many different colours, including lots of rich deep autumnal tones and the staple for this season, black is just about every where. There are also, all sorts of historical references. But what are the key trends for autumn and how can you adapt these trends to suit your wardrobe?

Grunge

Grunge was a trend originally started in the nineties by Marc Jacobs and this autumn, it is back. A really easy trend to wear taking inspiration from catwalk shows of Burberry Prorsum and Alexander Wang amongst others. To get this look layer fine knits in dark colours add fingerless gloves, slouchy boots or beanie hats. Gothic / dark romance

At the autumn shows, it was hard to get away from the Gothic and dark romance references. Structured

Tailoring for this season is all about structure with collars and shoulders making a big statement. The structure on the top half was balanced with simple and streamlined bottom halves. Trousers were slim legged and cropped and skirts straight and knee length. Structured tailoring was particularly seen at Jil Sander, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs with angular shoulders and upstanding collars that looked as if they may have been constructed by a structural engineer but feminine with it. Look out for exaggerated and rounded shoulders on suits and dresses and big shawl style collars.

Punk

Rodarte led this way at the autumn shows with punk styling including cobweb tights and ripped dresses. Marc Jacobs autumn winter had a strong punk theme but this time with a much prettier edge. The main features of this trend are ripped and slashed clothes, fishnets, checks, plaids and mini skirts.

Military Style

Military style is big news this season with double breasted and closely tailored suits and coats, epaulettes, gold and brass details and buttons and military badges. Alexander McQueen contrasted Navy blue military tailoring with cold trim with a chiffon skirt and gold sparkling leggings. At Temperley, there were white, fitted military style jackets and at Ralph Lauren, red military style blazers and berets. This trend has emerged on the high street as differing styles of military coats and jackets.

Couture details

The autumn 08 catwalk shoes have seen a trend for all sorts of lavish couture like details adorning clothes including beading, embroidery, pleating, folding, bows and ruffles. There are other few things that you should take care about while selecting a dress beside above and those are, while going for a wedding don't ever wear a white, because it competes with the bride, there are plenty of other colors around you just need to search them. Fall Numbers and Good Lines

The time is right for those who start the sports wagering cycle in College and Pro Football, or those also interested in late season baseball with the playoffs fast approaching. One thing I would bring light to is shopping your lines and getting serious about line value not only in football, but baseball as well. Handicapping the line is the first thing I do in my process of handicapping a game, especially in football.

As I look at the rotation sheets in football, I see a ton of "Fall Numbers". Those lines would be ( 3,6,7,10,14 point spreads), or a number that the score is likely to fall on. There is no value in fall numbers unless you expect an underdog to win outright getting 3 points, as oddsmakers are quick to post these fall numbers early in the season to minimize risk on their end. You will also notice a ton of 4.5 or 5.5 spreads in the NFL, which are considered bad numbers to lay, as many game ARE likely to land on a fall number this upcoming weekend in pro football.

You can avoid some of these fall number traps by shopping your lines. Most books will adjust their own lines according to their action at their own book, as they want to have as close to 50/50 action on both sides of a side play or totals play. By shopping around either early or late, you take take advantage of an extra 1/2 point here and there. Just having 1 outlet is going to cost an average player 8-10 units a year, I assure you. Most offshore books posted on legitimate gaming portals are 110% on the up and up, and have anywhere from 15% to 30% sign-up bonus's in place, so it is well worth the time to invest in having at least 2 if not 3 to 4 outlets to shop a line around. In baseball , on any given day, you can find a favorite laying -133 at one book and -145 at another, and if you are on that favorite, why lay an extra 12-cents on the dollar when you do not have to? It is no different than driving down the street and finding gas at $3.50 a gallon and looking two blocks ahead and seeing it at $3.19 a gallon, where are you going to purchase your gas at?

You may also find that books will offer "early bird" juice, which means you get better than 11 to 10 odds. I see if you play games by Friday night in some cases I have seen, you can lay -105 on a side play in football, or -107 for all NFL games, so take advantage of these options as well. The marketplace for sportsbooks is highly competitive, just as it is in handicapping, but making the right choices and leaving your options open, makes you money at the end of the day, and I consider it sound advice to have every possible edge against the books this fall football season.

The Change of Life And Perry Como

I'm not sure that most women know that the change is coming. Most women aren't even quite sure the change has arrived as they stand motionless in the eye of their own hurricane. Oddly enough, those dear men who accompany us through life and who we claim are oblivious to feminine needs are aware of the change the very minute our hormones start to do their wicked dance.

What gives it away? Is it the spinning head or the weepy welcomes or the air conditioning running in December?

I admit I was oblivious. I knew something was not quite right. I thought I was sick. My brain was not functioning as normal. Its as if people were talking to me and I was absorbing the information through cotton candy. I felt slightly feverish. Surely I must be coming down with something, I thought.

It cant be menopause. Im not sweating profusely in bed. I had experienced a hot flash or two over the years but nothing significant. Menopause is supposed to be loaded with countless nights of changing nightgowns. I was in the clear or so I thought.

I believe youre peri-menopausal. Dr. OBrien peered at me down his nose and through horn-rimmed reading glasses. That was a new one. Whats peri-menopause? I asked. Well thats the time before menopause when a woman starts to feel mild hormonal changes resulting in cloudy thinking and feelings of warmth accompanied by stress and irritability.

Still not convinced that I could have a pinky over the other side, I asked, But how can you be sure that Im peri-menopausal? In professional knee-jerk authority he responded, Do you know who Perry Como is?

Perry Como the American crooner, the hearthrob of the 50s and beyond, the crooner, the recording artist, , the television star, that handsome hunk. I responded, Yes. And with that the deal was sealed.

I drove home realizing I reached the summit. I had that one pinky over the line. I tried to cheer myself up by humming a tune a rendition of Jingle Bells as only Perry Como would have sung it.
